Ms.
Schuler has taught a number of college courses including the
last eight years at the University of the Pacific, Stockton,
CA as a visiting Assistant Professor for the School of Engineering
& Computer Science. She has co-authored several academic
computer textbooks as part of the Advantage Team for college
level courses which are currently published as the Advantage
Series by Irwin McGraw-Hill Higher Education.
Ms. Schuler is a highly rated presenter
with an ability to simply answer the most complicated computer
questions in plain English. She also directs the Community
Web Page Project, a community service provided by StocktoNet
that offers Internet access and World Wide Web publication
to non-profit Stockton-based groups and organizations. Her
column, Computer
Connection , appears bi-weekly in the business section
of The Record.
Catherine is active locally in the Stockton
community, having served 12 years on the Board of Directors
for the Stockton
Asparagus Festival and also volunteers regularly for the
Haggin Museum as
a member of the Museum Jr. Women's Group.
